Is there an official Gangstar Mirage City weapon tier list?
No. This page is an unofficial S–C snapshot by role. Developer pages do not publish these letters. Exact DPS stays TBA.
This Gangstar Mirage City weapon tier list is an unofficial S–C snapshot by role — PvE street, heist, close alley, and wanted — using the same 20 launch names as the weapons list. It is not Gameloft / Level Infinite balance. Exact DPS stays TBA. Letters can move after a patch. If a row is a guess dressed as math, this page prints TBA instead. Verified August 21, 2026.

No. Gangstar Mirage City store pages advertise a collection from pistols to rocket launchers and the right to customize them. They do not ship an S–C chart. Third-party launch write-ups already published one global ranking. This page does not copy that ranking as fact. We rank by role, mark every table unofficial, and leave DPS blank.
| What you might see elsewhere | What this page does |
|---|---|
| One S–C column for all 20 guns | Four role columns; a gun can be S in an alley and C on a chase |
| Invented DPS % and “TTK” | TBA until HUD recapture |
| “Official meta” language | Unofficial snapshot · letters can move |
| Ranking a gun you cannot name | Only the launch list on weapons |
S means “equip this class/name for this role if you own it.” A means “strong default.” B means “works, usually a specialist or a worse duplicate.” C means “wrong tool for this role, not a worthless gun.” TBA means we will not pretend a numeric order exists.
Pistols: Frostbite, Thunderstrike, Shadowcaster. ARs: Left for Dead, Chlorine, Headhunter, Watchtower, The Reverend. SMGs: Starbuster, Ol' Reliable, Noise Pollution, Left Alone. Shotguns: Punk Tactics, Howler, Grim Reaper. Snipers: Moneyshot, TKO. LMG: Skin to Bone. Launchers: RPG, Buzzsaw.
Street work is the default Rooklyn hour. Rank that first, then specialize.
PvE street means story jobs, roam fights, and mixed range — not a timed vault and not a five-star chase. You want a primary that still works at 20 meters and a third slot that does not brick you in a doorway. This is an unofficial snapshot.

| Tier | Unofficial street names | Why (qualitative) |
|---|---|---|
| S | Left for Dead · Chlorine · Starbuster | AR generalists plus one SMG that still runs. Default three-slot core if you own them. |
| A | Frostbite · Headhunter · Ol' Reliable · Howler | Pistol backup worth keeping; extra AR/SMG/shotgun that covers mixed jobs without a specialist fetish. |
| B | Watchtower · Noise Pollution · Thunderstrike · Skin to Bone · Punk Tactics | Usable. Watchtower/LMG feel like hold tools; shotguns are “A in rooms, B on open asphalt.” Exact gap TBA. |
| C | Shadowcaster · The Reverend · Left Alone · Moneyshot · TKO · RPG · Buzzsaw | Wrong default for roam. Snipers and launchers wait for a role that asks. Duplicate pistols/SMGs stay C until recapture says otherwise. |
| TBA | Grim Reaper vs Howler gap · any DPS % | Will not invent a numeric order inside a class. |
Frostbite (or any pistol you already fire) + Left for Dead or Chlorine + Starbuster or Howler. That is the same early rec as the weapons page, with letters attached. If you do not own the S names yet, an A-letter AR still beats a C-letter sniper on this role.
RPG and Buzzsaw can be fine on a vehicle or a door. On a street job they steal the slot your SMG needed. Letters are role-local.
Heists change the room. The next table is the co-op snapshot.
Co-op heists mix interiors, a timed objective, and a getaway. You still only carry three guns. Unofficial read: keep the AR, bring one close-range clearer, and only then consider one specialist — sniper for a long hold, LMG for a choke, launcher for a vehicle — not all three specialists at once.

| Tier | Unofficial heist names | Why (qualitative) |
|---|---|---|
| S | Left for Dead · Chlorine · Punk Tactics | AR for the approach + a shotgun that wins rooms. If the crew already covers rooms, Starbuster can sit in this row instead — TBA which is “more S.” |
| A | Headhunter · Starbuster · Ol' Reliable · Howler · Moneyshot · Skin to Bone | Second AR/SMG; one sniper if the plan has a real sightline; LMG if you are the choke holder. Do not take both snipers. |
| B | Watchtower · TKO · Noise Pollution · Grim Reaper · RPG · Buzzsaw · Frostbite | Works as the named specialist or the backup pistol. Launchers are B until ammo and vehicle rules are recaptured. |
| C | Shadowcaster · The Reverend · Left Alone | Duplicates you did not train. Leave them in the stash unless they are your only pistol/SMG. |
| TBA | Which launcher breaks doors vs vehicles | Will not fake a “RPG is 12% better” line. |
Four players with four snipers is a wipe with extra steps. Call the third slot out loud: rooms, hold, or vehicle. Prep, hit, split Dirty Money, then scrub — the money guide is the payout half of the same loop.
The opening bank teaches cover, planted charges, and a loud exit. Later crew jobs can be longer. Do not freeze your letters on the tutorial kit if the next operation is all corridors — that is an alley table wearing a heist label.
Alleys are where shotguns stop being “B on asphalt.”
Close alley means vans, stairwells, nightclub-width streets, and any fight where hip-fire matters more than ADS pride. Unofficial snapshot: SMG and shotgun letters go up; sniper and long-AR letters go down. Watchtower can keep a pretty name and still be the wrong gun.
| Tier | Unofficial alley names | Why (qualitative) |
|---|---|---|
| S | Punk Tactics · Howler · Starbuster · Ol' Reliable | Shotgun or SMG as the third slot that actually ends the room. Two of these plus a pistol is a valid three-slot if the AR keeps losing you doorways — still keep one mid-range if you have to exit onto a street. |
| A | Frostbite · Grim Reaper · Noise Pollution · Left for Dead · Chlorine | Pistol backup; third shotgun; ARs that still hip-fire well enough to leave the alley alive. AR drops from street-S to alley-A on purpose. |
| B | Headhunter · Thunderstrike · Left Alone | Usable backups and extra SMG. Gap inside the class stays TBA. |
| C | Moneyshot · TKO · Watchtower · The Reverend · Skin to Bone · RPG · Buzzsaw · Shadowcaster | ADS and splash tools that punish you when the camera is already in someone’s jacket. LMG/launchers are hold/vehicle guns, not alley mains. |
| TBA | Punk Tactics vs Howler vs Grim Reaper order | Three shotguns, no published pellet stats — no fake sequence. |
You can still carry Left for Dead in slot two for the street on the other side of the alley. The letter that changes is the third slot. Swapping Howler in before you enter the block is the whole skill.
Gameplay callouts during the tutorial fight tell you to aim up. That is a crosshair note, not a “2.4× head multiplier” we will not publish. Pair this table with the three-slot rules on weapons.
Wanted stars flip the problem: now the alley is moving, and you are the loot.
This is the mid-page executable for the Gangstar Mirage City weapon tier list. Wanted is a mobility exam that happens to include guns. Stars drop when you break line of sight or step into an interior — wanted level. Unofficial letters below assume you still have to shoot, then leave.
| Tier | Unofficial wanted names | Why (qualitative) |
|---|---|---|
| S | Left for Dead · Chlorine · Starbuster | Guns you can fire while moving. Same core as street, on purpose. |
| A | Ol' Reliable · Frostbite · Headhunter · Howler | SMG/pistol/AR extras; shotgun only for bunched cops in a door, then you still have to leave. |
| B | Noise Pollution · Punk Tactics · Thunderstrike · RPG · Buzzsaw | Situational. Launchers vs cars stay B until ammo and lock-on rules are recaptured — TBA, not a hidden S. |
| C | Moneyshot · TKO · Watchtower · The Reverend · Skin to Bone · Shadowcaster · Left Alone · Grim Reaper | ADS, slow holds, and duplicate sidearms. A sniper on a five-star street is how the helicopter finds you. |
| TBA | Exact star thresholds vs unit types | Helicopters exist at high heat; we will not invent a “use Buzzsaw on choppers” DPS line. |
A fast vehicle plus an AR beats a Top Shelf sniper you ADS in the open. Upgrade the guns you fire; pick the getaway car for the stars you actually draw.
Slot check → SMG or AR in hand → move → interior or break LOS → only then think about a launcher for a blocking car. If that loop fails, the tips page is the habit list; this page stays the letter list.
Soft launch is Soft launch August 20, 2026. Patches will reshuffle feel. This dwell hook is how to use the snapshot without treating it as a live API.
| If a patch… | Do this | Do not |
|---|---|---|
| Nerfs an S AR you main | Keep firing it until the next session feels worse, then swap inside the same class | Delete the save or buy Diamonds in panic |
| Adds a 21st gun | Park it as TBA on this list until a recapture | Invent a letter from the name |
| Changes proficiency payouts | Still upgrade 1–3 mains on weapons | Spread upgrades to “catch the new meta” |
| Makes a launcher popular in chat | Test it on the heist/wanted row only | Drop the AR to wear a meme |
After a session, write: role, three names equipped, which letter felt wrong. If Howler felt like street-S for you, that is a personal note — it does not become a fake DPS cell on this page. Discord rumor without a HUD still stays TBA.
Names and slot rules: weapons. First hour: beginner guide. Jobs that pay for the next upgrade: heists and money guide.
No. This page is an unofficial S–C snapshot by role. Developer pages do not publish these letters. Exact DPS stays TBA.
There is no single best gun. Street and wanted want an AR plus SMG core (Left for Dead / Chlorine / Starbuster if you own them). Alleys want a shotgun or SMG. Heists want the AR plus one specialist. Letters can move.
Roles differ. Moneyshot can be A on a heist hold and C on a wanted chase. That is the point of four tables.
No. We use the same 20 unofficial launch names, then rank by PvE street, heist, alley, and wanted. We will not paste a fake numeric ranking.
No. One sniper is a specialist swap. Two snipers waste the slot your SMG or shotgun needed.
Not on this snapshot. They sit B as vehicle/door tools and C as default street/alley guns. Ammo and lock-on stay TBA.
Three. Upgrade 1–3 mains. The stash is not a fourth slot.
Class tables and proficiency notes live on weapons.
